We’ve all been there. Waiting for that important email that never seems to arrive in our inbox. Only to find, sometimes days later, that the email was moved automatically into our junk or spam folder. In this post, we discuss how to whitelist email addresses in popular email clients to ensure that emails from those addresses always get delivered into your inbox.

Microsoft Outlook Desktop
Whitelist email Solution: Add the sender to your safe list
- Select the email to open it.
- On the message tab, select “Junk>Never Block Sender“
If the email is already in your Junk Email folder:
- Select the email to open it
- On the message tab, select “Report Message > Not Junk“
- If a “Report as Not Junk?” pop-up appears, select “Report“
- Back on the message tab, select “Junk>Never Block Sender“.

Microsoft 365 (Outlook)
Whitelist email Solution: Add the sender to your contacts
- Select the email to open it.
- Hover the cursor over the From address
- Select the more options ellipsis (3 dots)
- Click “Add to Contacts” then “Create“.
If the email is already in your Junk Email folder:
- Select the email to open it.
- Press “Not Junk>Not Junk“
- Press the Report button to “Report as Not Junk“

Gmail
Whitelist email solution: Add the sender to your contacts
- Select the email to open it.
- Rest your cursor over the From address
- Select “Add to Contacts“
If the email is already in your Spam folder:
- Select the email to open it.
- Choose: “Report Not Spam“.

Yahoo Mail
Whitelist email solution: Add the sender to your contacts
- Select the email to open it.
- Rest your cursor over the From address.
- Select “Add to Contacts” then Save.
If the email is already in your Spam folder:
- Select the email to open it.
- Click “Not Spam“.

Apple IOS Mail
Whitelist email solution: Add the sender to your contacts
- Select the email to open it.
- Press the From address.
- Select the arrow next to the From address.
- Choose “Create New Contact“
- Press Done
If the email is already in your junk folder.
- Select the email to open it.
- Press the arrow at the bottom.
- Select “Mark as Not Junk“.

Apple Mac OS Mail
Whitelist email solution: Add sender to your contacts
- Select the email
- Rest your cursor over the From address.
- Select the down arrow and choose “Add to Contacts“.
If the email is already in your junk folder:
- Select the email.
- Click “Move to Inbox“.

Samsung Mail
Whitelist email solution: Add sender to your contacts
- Select the email to open it.
- Press the From address.
- Select “Add to Contacts“.
- Click “Create Contact” then “Save“.
If the email is already in your Spam folder.
- Select the email to open it.
- Press the “more options ellipsis (3 dots).
- Select “Remove from Spam“

Thunderbird Mail
Whitelist email solution: Add sender to your address book
- Select the email to open it.
- Click the From address.
- Select “Add to Address Book“.
If the email is already in your Spam folder:
- Select the email to open it.
- Press “Junk“.
- Select the “Not Junk” button.
